The teams practice throughout the summer to build camaraderie and perfect technique as they prepare to compete for the coveted Dragon Cup. This fundraiser packs a boatload of fun that stimulates the senses. The sounds of spirited team chants, impromptu cheers, and encouraging shouts from fans keep the rivalry high. Food and music keep the festive atmosphere going all day.

Your support of the event, the teams, and the paddlers, enables Catholic Charities family of 2,000 employees, 20,000 volunteers, and 15,000 donors to welcome and serve people of all faiths, educate others about the circumstances of those we assist and serve, and advocate for them and for a just society.  The work done in our 80 programs improves the circumstances and lives of 160,000 individuals and families every year. We serve people who suffer from poverty, children and families, seniors, and those who live with developmental disabilities.
